Guitar intonation check

Play the open string, then the same string fretted at the 12th fret. tuneplz tells you which way to move the saddle, and about how far.

Put fresh strings on and tune the open string first. Old strings read sharp at the 12th fret and send you chasing a problem that isn’t the saddle.

Sharp at the 12th: move the saddle back, away from the neck. Flat: move it forward. About 0.37 mm per cent on a 25.5″ scale; retune and check again after each move.
